Check out Han Hyo Joo’s new hairstyle!

It’s not for real – it’s for her upcoming film “Only You” alongside So Ji Sub (sporting a similarly messy mop). It’s said that his hairdo was reminiscent of his days in the drama I’m Sorry I Love You.

They attracted quite a lot of attention for their hairdo, no doubt because it looks quite…atrocious.

Jung Joon Ho is getting married! to anchorwoman Lee Ha Jung! on March 25th! Here’s to hoping his wife is not like Hwang Tae Hee in Queen of Reversals. They haven’t been dating for long, but I guess quantity does not equal quality. She had interviewed him last November and the two of them hit it off. He will officially announce his marriage plans on the 13th, after he returns from a fanmeeting in Japan, but I hope he doesn’t also announce that she’s pregnant, or else it will be a major *facepalm.

Secret Garden will be holding a concert featuring songs from the OST next weekend. Baek Ji Young, 4Men, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Hyun Bin will all appear at the concert (yes – Hyun Bin’s got a song to sing). The OST has proved popular, selling thousands of copies. Footage from the concert will also be used in the Sunday night finale. Kinda like what You’re Beautiful did…which makes me wonder if Oska will make a love proclamation to Seul at the end of the night. Or maybe to Joo Won…

Aww – isn’t this cute? Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah appeared in variety show “Strong Heart” to help promote My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.

Aiii! I really can’t wait for this drama to air!

In other casting news though, producers are still looking for someone to replace Park Yong Ha in the drama Tian Mi Mi or Comrades, a Love Story. They are looking for someone who is a close colleague to Park as a way to pay some homage to him; they also believe that only a close colleague would be best suited for the role. That leaves Won Bin, So Ji Sub, and Ryu Si Won as top contenders. Though So Ji Sub is like a real brother no doubt, he’s already in Road No. 1 and I think one more drama would lead to overexposure in a bad way. (After all, Road No. 1 isn’t a ratings hit either.) I’d really like Won Bin to be cast, but they can always pull something like the movie “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus,” where Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell took over Heath Ledger’s role after Ledger’s premature death. Yoon Eun Hye is still signed on for the drama.

Korea’s 20 Hottest Male Celebs

Yes – you are bound to find your favorite on this list. I was surprised CNN Asia did an article on this. The descriptions are what CNN wrote about them.

Without further ado…

Park Yong Ha was laid to rest with So Ji Sub carrying his photo. His parents did not attend the funeral procession, but his numerous celebrity friends, including Park Shi Yeon and Ryu Si Won, were in attendance. I’ve seen nothing but news on this matter, and it’s quite depressing seeing all the photos of the celebrities crying. I am just as guilty for looking at all these photos though; I do feel that I intrude their private space when I do.

Road No. 1 Releases New Drama Pictures

Road No. 1, which stars Kim Ha Neul, So Ji Sub, and Yoon Kye Sang (oh Yoon Kye Sang!!!), released a photo from a dating scene that takes place in Busan. It is a date between So’s character Jang Woo and Kim’s character Soo Yeon, as they reunite after a long separation because of the war.

The drama title comes from ‘Route 1′, which is the road between Seoul to Pyongyang. Jang Woo and Soo Yeon are lovers who separate because of the war, and while she waits she becomes engaged to Yoon’s character Tae Ho. But Jang Woo eventually returns, and Tae Ho becomes jealous of their connection. It sounds like “Pearl Harbor” with a dash of Chuno but hopefully without the broken heart that Jang Hyuk had to suffer from seeing Lee Da Hae marry Oh Ji Ho.

I like war movies, but not dramas. There’s something about it that I can’t stand watching prolonged suffering over an extended period of time. Hence, I might watch “Into the Fire” but not “Road No. 1.”
