Park Shi Yeon is Getting Married!

Featured

Looks like the Coffee House actress is getting married!

The date seems to be set for November 19, and while it’s been rumored, I have seen four separate articles about it, so I’m kind of thinking it’s true. Park Shi Yeon is set to marry her boyfriend of four years, who works in stocks and securities. (One article says they’ve been together since March, so it’s likely that they’ve known each other for a while, and only became serious recently.) The location will be at the Seoul Hyatt Hotel. Of course – if this ends up being complete gossip, my only response is: “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire…”

Congratulations to the actress! I’m happy to see that she’s found happiness!

News Bits: 8/1/11 Edition

Oh dear. Kim Jeong Hoon (currently in I Need Romance) recently got booked for DUI and had his driver’s license revoked. Someone reported him for driving after drinking, and was pulled over. His alcohol level was 0.129%, which was enough for him to get his license revoked.

The actor was just getting his stride after coming back from the military, acting in I Need Romance and shooting the film “Punchline” with Yoo Dong Gun. He was also set to host two music shows in Japan – “Gaon Monthly Countdown” and “M-Studio.”

Well – at least he didn’t get into an accident.

Park Shin Hye returns after her car accident with a new perm, showing off her new curls in a recent tweet. She had requested her “Lee Gyu Won” look, which her stylist then gave her, but now all she has to worry about is if her curls will fall apart in Korea’s current wet weather. Because she looks oh-so-cute, her photo has sent netizens a-buzzing about loving her hairstyle. Personally? I don’t even get why this made it on the news…and look, here I am writing about it! Heh.

Oh the most hilarious photoshop ever!

Park Shi Yeon, Nam Gyu Ri, and Park Jin Hee all participated in a photo shoot for Marie Claire Korea, dressed in bathrobes in a hotel tub. Thing is, if you look carefully, Park Shi Yeon’s legs are gone!! It doesn’t even look plausible that Park is standing behind the tub, as it looks to be quite connected to the wall. (Then again, it could be just the angle and she could be standing behind it!)

Either way – funny photoshop indeed!

Park Shi Yeon to Appear in Best Love

Awww yeah!

Park Shi Yeon will cameo in the third and fourth episode of this Hong Sisters drama. She will appear as one of the celebrities in the variety show “Top Star” with Yoo In Na’s character Se Ri.

Park last appeared in the Hong Sisters’ My Girl, and thus has a relationship with the writers. She already finished shooting her scenes last week.

News Bits: 10/11/10 Edition

Aw – yesterday I should have done a news bit post, because then I could have said 10/10/10!!! Anyways – for the Taiwanese out there, Happy 10/10!

So I will start with some Chinese pop news – Charlene Choi – aka Ah Sa – just admitted that she is in a new relationship – with Hong Kong singer William Chan (whom, if I may say, is waaaaaaaaay cuter than her ex-husband Ronald Cheng. Just sayin’). The two have known each other for seven years, having first met on the set of a Twins music video. Though she’s admitted to the relationship – and allowed photos to be taken of them together, Charlene still seems to be a bit shy about being too open about her new relationship. Both of them have had a past (he’s dated a model called Angelababy – really? That’s her name?) but now they claim to be in a stable relationship.

I guess Charlene is trying something new – she tried having a relationship, and marriage, that was completely under wraps. This time, she’s being more open and relaxed about it. Let’s see if this method will work for her.

Official Photos from ‘Coffee House’

Lunch time!

SBS released some official photos of the drama, most of them coming from the last couple of episodes. The drama, which finishes up next week with 18 episodes, has provided quite an emotional turmoil, going back and forth and misleading audiences with little hints of Kang Ji Hwan‘s character going between Eun Jung or Park Shi Yeon‘s characters. Though I think it will definitely end with a particular pairing, I don’t really care. I just want more fun and happy moments.

Sandara Park landed in L.A. to shoot a new music video with Tae Yang for his upcoming solo album. The music video is for his first single “I Need a Girl” (no – not desperate at all, dude). Sandara appeared before in his music video for “Wedding Dress.” The two of them must be really good friends… (Edit: it turned out to be a rumor that Sandara appeared in “Wedding Dress”)

Kim Kang Woo Weds

Story of a Man‘s Kim Kang Woo just got married to his girlfriend of seven years, Han Mu Young. Han is also the older sister of actress Han Hye Jin. The ceremony was held in a cathedral and was closed off to the public. Hence there were less pictures and press available.

The guest list included other stars as well, including Shin Se Kyung, Han Jung Soo, Song Seung Hoon, Kim So Yeon, Moon So Ri, Lee Hana, Park Shi Yeon, and Joo Jin Mo. Some photos of the stars are seen below.

Kim So Yeon is too funny though – she wore the same dress that she did to the Prosecutor Princess press conference way back when. While it may be called a fashion faux pas (especially since they’re high profiled stars), I couldn’t care less. I’d do the same too! It’s an expensive dress – might as well make the most use of it! Han Jung Soo also seems like he lifted a suit out of his character’s wardrobe for this event.

UPDATE: I must revise the above comment about Kim So Yeon’s dress – I was mistaken. She did not wear that dress to the press conference for Prosecutor Princess. Nevertheless.. that dress is hauntingly familiar…

And I still maintain my comment about Han Jung Soo’s clothes! :D
