Really, almost every other day, someone’s had a car accident. I’m sure the current weather in Korea isn’t helping, as it is the rainy season, and even if you drive carefully, you can still end up skidding. But still…can we get no-skid tires and alert drivers for these people!?
Yoo Seung Ho is the latest actor to get in a car accident.
Kim Min Joon had quite a workout in June, acting out in the sun with a heavy winter blanket around his body. I’m assuming it’s the aftermath of what happened in episode 9, where Min Hyo Rin does something very naughty. In bed. With him. (OK – I’m making it sound worse than it really was, but believe me, I was outraged.) Kim walked around bare-chested and bare foot for his upcoming scenes.

These two ladies of Romance Town have certainly been working very hard. Min Hyo Rin has been modeling left and right, and now she’s in Ceci Campus’ June Issue, displaying an ethereal beauty in boho chic clothing. She. Looks. Stunning.
On the other hand, Sung Yuri was recently admitted into the hospital for fatigue and a fever. She was in the hospital for 15 hours (which I’m not sure is enough, unless she slept for all 15 hours). No interruption to shooting was made, although I do feel bad that she’s been working so tirelessly on Romance Town. You’d think that with a cast so big, at least everyone would manage to take a break every so often…
Why YAYYY – YIPPEE-KI-YAY!
We have a kiss! Or two! Or three! Or not. 
Either way – do I sound shallow, because all I care about is a kiss between the characters? Huh!? Sorry – I don’t have a “deeper” thought about it.
Oh wow – I have seriously not done this for a while. And by “a while” I mean 5 days. That’s a long time…
Denali1975 beat me to it, but yes – I’m recapping Romance Town! And I have to say – can Wednesday come any sooner?! I’m so excited to be recapping this – I’m glad I listened to all of you.
Let us all spazz over Jung Gyu Woon together, yeah?!
But on to the news…
Above is the official poster for Ripley, featuring Lee Da Hae, Micky Yoochun, Kim Seung Woo, and Kang Hye Jung. Sick, no? But I think it’s quite interesting and definitely shows off the darker tone this drama will take. If only everyone else would stop smiling; only Lee Da Hae seems to be selling the whole “dark, twisted melodrama” feel.
Wow – May has seen a whole gamut of first episodes – all different from the last. Romance Town has by far got to be most low-key one ever.
I also sincerely believe I’m going to die for the next two months. No sleep at all. Not to mention, I’d probably be going straight into watching Heartstrings after this.

If Yoon Eun Hye has to act “cute” then I say Jung Gyu Woon MUST be acting “hot.”
I don’t care about anyone else – except him. But I do provide one still of Min Hyo Rin, who acts more like a maid than Sung Yuri. Speaking of which…I must write a letter to her…
Now this is a drama I wasn’t interested in seeing, but am slowly getting around to it. I still may not see it. Too many dramas at once ya know!? But hey – Jung Gyu Woon in fat suit?
Below are some photos from the conference. It’s less, but also because it looked pretty boring. Everyone was dressed in grays and black. Sung Yuri‘s dress is quite nice, although I’m not too sure about the huge black frilly flower on her shoulder. But Min Hyo Rin looked older for her age with the grandma-white lace on her dress.
And none too soon! Three posters featuring the lovely Jung Gyu Woon and the rest of the cast have been released. (Clearly we know where my interest lies…)
Like the drama plot and the trailer, the posters look pretty bland. The last one is a nice play on role reversal, where the chaebols in the drama are the servants and the maids are the ones sitting at the table. I find it odd that Min Hyo Rin is dressed quite finely above her station, but fine – if you want to put her in a fancy dress, so be it. She does look good in them.
I am hoping there’s a secret that helps give the drama more substance, but not too melodramatic like, “I’m actually the daughter of this CEO!”
