Queen of Reversals: A Mini Review

I give up. It’s kind of sad, but I really refuse to continue any further with this series. I love Park Shi Hoo, I REALLY DO. (He’s mine.) But at this rate I cannot continue with the series when I have the little friendly button called “fast forward” at easy access and something called “Time” looming behind my back.

Hence, a mini review of my overall impressions.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 10

I listened to all of you saying that it’ll get better, so I’m still watching.

As for this episode, well, at least it moved fast. But my gripe is that there weren’t enough Yong Shik-Kang Woo scenes. I guess I can’t have it both ways.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 9

Let me preface this by saying that this episode made me want to drop this series. I’m serious. I’ll explain later, but, Kang Woo and Yong Shik would then do something so random that it makes me burst out into laughter and fall in love again. I hate those two.

Look at how they walk – so similarly, like two peas in a pod.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 8

Is it bad that I think Park Shi Hoo and Kim Nam Joo have more chemistry than she with Jung Joon Ho? And to think, Kim and Jung are good friends thanks to her hubby Kim Seung Woo.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 7

The recaps are back! And honestly – Yeo Jin and Jun Soo should just get together. I’ve seen the spoilers (regarding Tae Hee and Yong Shik), so I’m watching with those tidbits in mind.

This episode was kinda awesome for three things: plot movement, Kim Seung Woo, and Ma Hye Ri. (I LOVED that shout out, ‘cept I wish the writer was a little more daring. At least with Dr. Champ Park Shi Hoo made a voice cameo; then again, I guess because the crew that did Prosecutor Princess did Dr. Champ, they were more willing to do more with the cameo.)

Queen of Reversals: Episode 6

Oh my goodness – the recaps are getting so long! As in – they’re almost as long as the posts I do for dramabeans! Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Anyways – am definitely liking the role reversal, but am really hating the older generation’s expectations of a “man” and what it means to be head of the household. A neighbor assumes that because Jun Soo is home, he must be on vacation – not out of work. I mean really, is it that socially embarrassing to be a stay-at-home dad?

To the little lady Sora - who doesn't say anything but is cute nevertheless

The story is spinning! I’m glad that this time, instead of the housewife working behind the scenes to make sure her husband succeeds, it’s the housewife who’s taking charge of the household. Now that is a relevant drama.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 4

I was going to do summaries for the episodes – but it started to get long. And then it became a recap. It’s not overly detailed. I think it’s a drama that can still be easily summarized, but a lot of things happen in each episode – it’s got quite a fast pace. Hence – my immense dislike for an extension.
