Oh the most hilarious photoshop ever!

Park Shi Yeon, Nam Gyu Ri, and Park Jin Hee all participated in a photo shoot for Marie Claire Korea, dressed in bathrobes in a hotel tub. Thing is, if you look carefully, Park Shi Yeon’s legs are gone!! It doesn’t even look plausible that Park is standing behind the tub, as it looks to be quite connected to the wall. (Then again, it could be just the angle and she could be standing behind it!)

Either way – funny photoshop indeed!

New Stills from Protect the Boss

If you thought Heartstrings, or Greatest Love, or Romance Town, or Sparkling had too many names, well so does this drama. The Choi Kang Hee-Ji Sung drama was first called The Last Female Secretary, and then it changed to The Boss Has Changed, and now it’s called Protect the Boss. Sigh… Well at least its latest name implies that it’s a comedy.

The following stills show Choi Kang Hee interviewing in front of Jaejoong, who is the more competent Cha than his cousin Cha Ji Hun (played by Ji Sung). She is so desperate to make a good impression that she even does a little dance. I doubt Jaejoong’s Cha Mu Won is much amused.

Then there are stills of Ji Sung with Wang Ji Hye. It looks like when they were dating in happier times, as Ji Sung’s permed hair is even more atrocious than the current one. It looks like after they broke up he decided to be more of a playboy and upping his partying ways.

The final set of stills show Choi Kang Hee fighting off some baddies. I am impressed – a high kick in heels and shorts? Niiice. That doesn’t mean she can slack off on her coffee runs though… The original stills of when she was practicing for this scene can be found here.

What in the what?!

When did this happen!? Jung Gyu Woon posted up a photo on Twitter of him with Kim So Yeon, saying “Feeling refreshed with So Yeon-noona!” Based on their clothing it looks like the photo came from when they were shooting the ALL FOR YOU CF together (video below). I don’t think anyone in their right mind is wearing such heavy clothing in the summer.

UNLESS – they could have another photo shoot or CF in the works? If anyone knows where this photo might be from, let me know!

Ha Ji Won and Brother Make News

One is good, one is bad. Guess who is who.

Ha Ji Won has been confirmed as part of the cast for upcoming drama Peninsula. And to think she was just talking about choosing a good role. She will star alongside Jang Dong Gun and Jaejoong from JYJ, which is set to premiere in October. The big-budget drama is set in a unified Korean peninsula with Jang as the president, and Ha as his love interest. There is also a National Intelligence Director character, although I’m pretty sure it’s not going to go to Jaejoong. If it does, I’m gonna revolt. No way in hell am I gonna believe a young guy like him will be the National Intelligence Director.

Her brother Jun Tae Soo on the other hand was arrested for assaulting a cab driver. He was drunk, and has apologized publicly for his actions. Tsk tsk. Maybe he’s just letting loose some of his frustrations after the mediocre run of It’s OK Daddy’s Girl.

(One more Secret Garden tidbit: Hyun Bin’s favorite line of the entire drama? “New text message! New text message!” Yeah – that would’ve been my fave line too…)

News Bits: 5/6/10 Edition

The lead female for “You’re My Pet” has been rumored to be several leading ladies – but it looks like the offer just landed on Han Ye Seul‘s table. It’s not confirmed yet (although likely) – thoughts? Like or dislike? Will she be a good match to Jang Geun Suk?

Lee Pil Mo – from Sons of Sol Pharmacy and The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry - will now be starring in the historical drama Kim Suro… as a bad guy. His character starts off as a good friend of Kim Suro, but eventually sides with the rival side once Kim becomes king (as is expected in sageuks…). This is waaaaaaay different from his previous comedic roles, but with the way he was acting in WWSWM – I think he can definitely pull it off!
