Yay! The first Asian to win a Grand Slam ever! Li Na beat Francesca Schiavone in the 2011 French Open, breaking her Italian opponent through a tie-break. She won the match 6-4, 7-6 (7-0). She’s not strong in clay, but having beaten the 5th seed in the world, I think Li Na can do anything!
She made it to the finals in the Australian Open earlier this year, but lost to Kim Clijsters. Now I can’t wait to see her in Wimbledon and US Open!
