News Bits: 6/13/11 Edition

Lee Byung Hoon’s younger sister Lee Eun Hee is getting married in November! The former Miss Korea and child actress is marrying her boyfriend of about 4 years. She used to be in the entertainment industry but took a backseat. Now she’s becoming more and more noticeable due to her brother’s fame, and works as a broadcaster now.

The date hasn’t been set yet, and her brother’s filming schedule will be taken into consideration (as he’s going to be in “G.I. Joe 2″).

I don’t think they look anything alike – in fact, she looks mixed!

Wu Zun Goes Solo!

AHHHH! (That’s a scream of shock and despair, by the way.)

Wu Zun has decided not to renew his contract and will go solo. He opened his own official fan club, called “Chun Zone International Fan Club,” and held his first fan meeting the past weekend. He said that he will continue to join his Fahrenheit group members (Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, and Aaron Yan) for endorsements and events, so this sounds a bit like what Kim Hyun Joong did with SS501 and being part of KEYEAST. However, he’s not planning on releasing solo albums and will focus on films instead.

Thank God for no solo albums, since I don’t think he’s a very strong singer to do an album by himself, but if he’s to concentrate on films, he needs to emote better.

Anyways – AHHHH! Then again, I’ll follow him wherever he goes.

It’s the end of February!

And great Scott! Chris Columbus (the director of Harry Potter and Home Alone, not the explorer) announced that he will bought the rights to Cha Tae Hyun’s comedy film “Hello Ghost.” The movie just came out last year, and now it’s going to be remade for American audiences. Great. Just great. Wow. I’m sooo frickin’ happy.

Wu Zun Leads a Fahrenheit MV

Woohoo! Wu Zun stars with Patty Hou in Fahrenheit’s new music video for the song 心疼妳的心疼 (roughly translated to “My Heart Aches when Your Heart Aches”). The concept is Patty Hou is an anchorwoman who needs a bodyguard (Wu Zun) when she gets threatened. They bond because of their proximity, and he even trains her in self-defense. However, she is also an engaged woman. When a kidnapper attacks, Wu Zun manages to save her just in time. However it also means the end of them working together, and he wishes her a happy life.

News Bits: 9/3/10 Edition

Park Shin Yang is back! The star of Money’s War, Lovers in Paris, and Painter of the Wind will play the lead role Yoon Ji Hoon in the upcoming drama Heaven (that’s the tentative title). His character conducts autopsies at the National Institute of Scientific Investigation, and is a cold person who doesn’t trust anyone. (Sounds like House.) But he’s also supposedly a three-dimensional character, with several personalities/sides to him. (A multiple-personality-disorder-afflicted main character?! Ooh… o_O)

Heaven is a medical/mystery drama that will begin filming in November. No female lead has been cast yet.

Wish Upon A Star ended tonight! But on to other news:

Here are some pics (after the jump) from the upcoming drama Prosecutor Princess. They went to a ski resort to film some scenes – anyone want to venture a guess why? (Maybe… Kim So Yeon‘s character follows Park Shi Hoo‘s character to the same resort?)
