Dramas and Movies I’ve Seen and Ratings:
(rated out of a scale of 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest)
*Unfinished means I haven’t finished it, and have no intention of going back and finishing it (unless I’m really bored one day)
*Partial means I saw it on and off when other family members were watching it avidly, but I have never sat down myself to watch it. Nevertheless I have a really good idea about what happens in the series thanks to said family members constantly rewatching and talking about it.
*Ongoing…is self-explanatory.

Did you watch Jap drama “Mother”?
Tear-jerking, quite emotional and only 11 episode!
Should Go watch
I would say that MOTHER is the best K-drama or J-drama i’ve seen since I began watching K- and J-dramas. I’m not necessarily counting rom-coms, but even if I included my favorite rom-coms, MOTHER is a better work of art-and art it is. I think I cried during every episode and I’m not a crier. The little girl was amazing. I kept worrying that they might have been torturing her on set for her to give so affecting a performance. I’d hold her performance up against any other child actor. Actually I’d hold it up against any adult actor. That drama broke my heart over and over. I want to re-watch, but I am terrified of getting back on that emotional roller-coaster.
Wow, there are still so many dorama gems for you to watch!! ^^ I guess it all depends on your taste, though!
I like your list ^^
you should check out Love Shuffle, its a load of fun
Many dramas on your list I didn’t watch, but I know people who did and their assessment is pretty close to yours. I agree that Mother is a superb drama (altho’ I personally had a hard time accepting the ending ~ wrestled w/it for days!). I just re-watched a drama I first saw in, maybe 2003? Long Vacation and in spite of it being ‘broken’, I did enjoy it again. I watched another quirky one that my whole family loves, Kekkon Dekinai Otoko, a Hiroshi Abe classic! More current ones that I’m presently viewing are: Zenkai Girl and Hanawake no Yon Shimai that I do recommend.
