I have been wanting to do this ALL WEEK ever since I got to Seoul – to sit down in front of a TV, watch a Korean drama as it airs IN KOREA, have no idea what’s going on in the story, and just write a “recap.”
Sorry though – there won’t be many screencaps. I can’t exactly screencap a TV. Also the story most likely will be completely wrong.
So here goes!
Two films in one!
I saw these films on the plane and had to write reviews because one was terrible and one was awesome.
Double header today! But it’s also because these two episodes are so intertwined.
I am officially in love with this drama.
Something about it being an underdog drama, coupled with it being winsome and light, with a dash of rivalry but nothing intense, and a sprinkle of “slice-of-life” simplicity makes this one worth watching for me. I must be weak if I keep reacting the way I do to this drama…
Somehow, with a few simple strokes, this drama got my heart racing.
Hmm. Still interesting. I don’t find myself wanting to pass more judgment than I already have since it’s the first two episodes, but interestingly the stakes have been raised for our poor protagonist Mi Soo already. Nevertheless, in the realm of K-drama, this one doesn’t pull any unexpected surprises.
Incredibly fun to watch. It helps that the golf ball looks like a Golden Snitch, but that’s besides the point. I think what’s nice about this drama is that the beginning doesn’t dwell too much on the hardships of our protagonist. It’s upbeat, it’s happy, and you just know it’s not going to last. Nevertheless, it’s quite fun to see young Mi Soo be so excited over golf, and to hone her innate talent at it.
So far, the edits to the story line haven’t hurt the drama either.
Well well well. The ending kind of snuck up on me in that I was sitting in front of my computer, enjoying the drama, when BAM – it ended.
This drama has been a fun ride as well – I can’t believe I recapped the entire series because it went by so fast, and it was fun! Anyways – here’s the last episode!
We’re winding down to the end, and in some ways, this episode reflected just that. I wasn’t surprised by the developments, although I do think it’s quite late in the game, and am curious how it will all tie up.
I wouldn’t be surprised (again) if this drama wasn’t neatly tied up. However, it does have quite the fast pace in one episode so you never know…
Hm – interesting progress in the drama. I actually appreciate the ending of this episode.
I don’t know what will happen for the last week (!!!) as I don’t watch previews. Ever. For any drama.
