Photo spamazz!

The photos look incredibly somber and melodramatic, which I hope is not going to be the tone for the drama. While I do expect some melodramatic crying scenes (the goal IS to get three people to cry), I do hope for some awesome comedic hijinks with the whole soul switcheroo. The photo setup is also pretty bland. If you notice, all the men are facing to the left, and all the women are on their right profile. It’s a bit uninspired.

Nevertheless – everyone looks so purrrrrrty.

News Bits: 2/28/11 Edition

It’s the end of February!

And great Scott! Chris Columbus (the director of Harry Potter and Home Alone, not the explorer) announced that he will bought the rights to Cha Tae Hyun’s comedy film “Hello Ghost.” The movie just came out last year, and now it’s going to be remade for American audiences. Great. Just great. Wow. I’m sooo frickin’ happy.

Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway

Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe sings! And dances! And is on Broadway!

Previews for his musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” began today, and I caught the evening showing. Gosh it was amazing! The plot was weak and flimsy, but it wasn’t the draw for the musical. The real draw was Radcliffe. He sang and dance earnestly, and it was amazing to be right up on par with the other veterans and Broadway actors there. He worked hard, and it showed. (I even forgot that he didn’t have a British accent!)

His best moments? Leap frogging over John Larroquette and kicking it like the Rockettes with the other boys.

Filipino Friday!

Guess what I’m doing on a Friday night? The TV is tuned in to the Filipino Channel of all things, and after laughing at the ridiculous Filipino dramas while eating dinner, the gossip news came on and it was all about Maria Aragon, the Lady Gaga-cover sensation on Youtube who is younger than Charice Pempengco and probably the next Charice.

I mean, she’s appeared on Ellen Degeneres’ show already. Next stop is for Oprah to lay her hands on the girl and the next thing we know, she’s crediting Oprah for discovering her.

Trailer for 49 Days

Awwwww yeah!

It’s a little freakier than I thought it would be, but it looks SO GOOD! The trailer focuses more on Lee Yo Won and Nam Gyu Ri’s characters, so you only get glimpses of everyone else. I’m not a fan of Lee Yo Won (I’m more like indifferent about her) but dang, I can’t wait to see her with that “sparkling personality” of Nam Gyu Ri’s!

Who the hell is @StillNotDavid?

I stumbled across him while on Twitter and honest to God I didn’t know who he was – but he looks like he’s got plenty enough of followers… and a penchant for dramas. Anyways – a little research and I dredged up a few facts (or what I think are facts): 1) he’s Korean-Vietnamese-American, 2) he wants to be a K-pop idol, 3) he’s seen You’re Beautiful and Boys Over Flowers, and 4) he thinks he knows girls.

Cute.

Ahhhhh – I totally deserve to kill myself with said sniper gun because I just spoil things for myself. I just always end up looking for tidbits about Athena – which is the dumbest thing I could ever do to myself. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

OK – spoilerific photo spamazz. I know what happens in episode 19 (thanks to these photos) DESPITE not having seen it yet – and I warn you all – if you dare put up any spoilery comments about what happens or what else happens from episode 18 on, I will hunt you down, and shoot you dead with a sniper gun before you can even say “Yoon Hye In!”

Nevertheless, I don’t dare deprive the world of such fun behind-the-scenes photos. After all – Lee Ji Ah is a very, very lucky girl. (She gets hugged not by one hottie – but two!)

News Bits: 2/21/11 Edition

Dayuuum – Amuro Namie is hot! The full MV was finally released, and the song is really catchy. More catchy than I thought it would be. After School definitely makes a good impression for their Japanese debut, which will officially be in June.

I am actually way behind – I’ve seen up to episode 12, and am just writing a recap of 8. I’ve forgotten some details, but hey – here’s a gist!
